What are Costco Digital Shop Cards?

A Costco Digital Shop Card is an electronic voucher delivered via email. It can be used through your smartphone or by presenting a printed version upon visiting a Costco store. These digital cards are available for purchase on Costco.com and distributed for specific promotions and other purposes. Cards received from costco@digitalshopcard.costco.com are valid and ready for use at any Costco store or on Costco.com and Costco.ca. However, they are not redeemable at Food Court kiosks or Gas Stations.

My Digital Shop Card has yet to arrive from Costco. Should I contact Customer Service?

Digital Shop Cards may occasionally get blocked by spam filters. If you're looking for a card, check your spam folder for an email from costco@digitalshopcard.costco.com. If you're still unable to find it, please contact Costco Customer Service for additional support.

When can I expect to receive my Shop Card?

Digital Costco Shop Cards will be emailed to new Costco members within two weeks of signing up.

What is offered with each Costco membership? 

A Gold Star Membership comes with the following:

• Annual membership fee of $60
• Complimentary Household Card
• Valid at all Costco locations globally

An Executive Membership comes with the following:

• Annual membership fee of $120 ($60 membership fee + $60 upgrade fee)*
• Complimentary Household Card 
• Valid at all Costco locations globally

• Further benefits and increased savings on Costco Services
• Added perks on specific Costco Travel offerings

Can I share my membership card with others?

A Costco membership card cannot be transferred, but there are various ways to extend the experience to family and friends. Cardholders can bring up to two guests to the Warehouse per visit, although purchasing privileges are reserved for Costco members only.

As the Primary Member or Account Manager, you can assign your complimentary household card to another individual in your residence. This allows them to enjoy the benefits of a Costco membership, as well. To designate someone, log in and navigate to Account Details on your Costco.com account. In the Account Details section, you can add a household member, and they can collect their card at the membership counter of your nearest Costco location.
